Dnipro, an ordinary city in Ukraine, became the center of another alarming event overnight. Russia reportedly launched an intercontinental ballistic missile, likely the RS-26 "Rubezh," weighing 40-50 tons. This missile is primarily designed to carry nuclear warheads.

The attack appears to be part of a broader strategy of "power demonstration" and psychological pressure against Ukraine and its people. The use of such a weapon, even without its nuclear payload, escalates fears and highlights the ongoing risks faced by civilian populations amid the war.

��били в косметологічному салоні – молода жінка померла через корекцію фігури.

Вона прийшла за модною процедуру по догляду за тілом. Робити все мала хазяйка клініки - називала себе хірургом, навіть на дверях кабінету, де проводила маніпуляції, була табличка – операційна. Працювати мали над зоною животу. Та в якийсь момент все пішло геть не так, як треба. Пацієнтці стало погано, потім ще гірше. Вона скаржилася працівникам клініки, але їй натомість лише вводили чергову дозу лідокаїну.

Весь процес зафіксований на камерах – на відео видно, як пацієнтка спо��атку вигинається від болю, потім дико кричить, б'ється в конвульсіях. А за декілька хвилин просто помирає. Персонал намагався її реанімувати, але не змогли.

Майже в п’ятнадцять разів – перевищення дози лідокаїну, судмедексперти були шоковані такими аналізами. На тілі жертви виявили 59 слідів від ін’єкцій.

Чому так сталося, встановити вдалося майже одразу. Процедуру проводила шарлатанка, яка видавала себе за хірурга. Їй тридцять три роки і за спеціальністю вона провізор-косметолог, навчалася на лікаря в ХНУ ім. Каразіна, але була лише інтерном.

Жодного права проводити такі маніпуляції з клієнтами у неї не було. Ліполіз, як і знеболювальні ін’єкції, вона взялася робити без ліцензії. Експ��рти підтвердили – на таке має право лише хірург або ж анестезіолог. Під час обшуку в клініці не вдалося знайти і жодних медичних документів – тільки так звані інформа��ійні згоди від клієнток на бланках клініки.

Сама псевдо-хірург після трагедії в клініці спробувала заперечувати, що взагалі не проводила процедуру. Потім намагалася перекласти провину на медсестру. А пізніше просто відмовилася говорити.

Слідчі з’ясували – ліполіз в зоні живота косметолог робила перший раз в житті. Але до того вже проводила подібні маніпуляції без ліцензії. Однією з жертв стала жінка, яка прийшла для корекції стегон. Вона залишилася жива, але постраждала – отримала подвійну дозу лідокаїну. Ця пацієнтка розповіла слідчим, що їй довелося відновлювати своє здоров’я після походу до шарлатанки.

Ми зібрали достатньо доказів, матеріалів та свідчень, маємо роз’яснення від Міністерства охорони здоров’я і вже повідомили жінці про підозру у вбивстві через необережність.

У її жертви, залишився маленький син. Дівчину любили та поважали колеги по роботі. Вона виросла в дитячому будинку, всього досягла без сторонньої допомоги та завжди прагнула до досконалості. Дитину виховувала сама, хлопчик лишився сиротою.

Після нашого листа до Міністерства охорони здоров'я горе-підприємицю взагалі позбавили права надавати послуги, наразі в клініці не можна проводити навіть найпростіші косметологічні процедури.

It is 2015 and I am 16 years old. I am carrying a portrait of a fallen soldier in my hands. His name is Oleh Rybachok. Men place the casket in front of his grief-stricken parents: the war has claimed both of their twin sons in less than a year.

The mayor steps on to the stage. He struggles to speak. ‘The war is to blame for this tragedy,’ he says. ‘May those who started it and those who support it drown in the rivers of tears shed by our grieving mothers and wives.’

He uses the moment to address both the Ukrainian government and world leaders. ‘Do everything possible and impossible to stop this terrible tragedy unfolding in the east of our country,’ he says.

It is June, and the Minsk-2 agreements were signed five months earlier, in February. Supervised by France and Germany, they meant to enforce a ceasefire along the frontline in Donetsk and Luhansk. Western leaders shook hands, said the deal was done and soon forgot about the war in Donbas as a distant nightmare.

But here I was in the summer, holding a portrait of a young man, watching his parents weep. I was asking myself: does not the world see that the ‘peace deal’ didn’t work? Or did they just choose not to care?

That day often comes to my mind even now, almost a decade later. Years of the war in Donbas made me believe that Ukrainians will always have to fight Russia alone – that nobody really cared about our struggle for freedom and independence.

Everything changed in February 2022. I learned that this was not true. I saw how thousands of people outside Ukraine supported us and aided our fight. Vladimir Putin thought he would take Kyiv within days, but it is still standing after 913 days of full-scale war. Many don't grasp the sheer magnitude of Ukraine’s strength in standing for so long against the largest country in the world. Ukrainians couldn’t have done it without our allies.

Not every day has been a victory. After more than a year of bloody defense, Kyiv has finally launched an operation that could be Ukraine’s last chance to turn the tide of this war. The success of the Kursk incursion has shown what Ukraine can achieve without constant constraints on how we should fight.

Yet we are still confronted with restrictions and ‘red lines’ from our partners. Why is Ukraine not allowed to fight Russia on equal terms? Such restrictions – still based on the fear of escalating tensions with Moscow – only aid the aggressor and lead to history repeating itself. Russia takes what it wants while Ukrainians are told we've been given ‘enough means to win.’

There will be no better moment than now to let Ukraine strike military bases and supply chains in Russia with ATACMS and Storm Shadow long-range missiles. We cannot afford to lose more lives due to indecision.

Today is Ukraine’s 33rd independence day and the fight for it is far from over. But this war should not drag on indefinitely: with appropriate support, with a plan more strategic than support for ‘as long as it takes’, with no hands tied behind its back, Ukraine can prevail.

The outcome of this battle will impact lives far beyond our borders and for generations to come. If allied leaders have the courage to allow stronger, more decisive action, a just peace may be delivered much sooner.

Overnight, Russia launched an attack on Ukrainian energy facilities, damaging power generation, transmission and distribution systems in various regions, including Ukraine's largest hydroelectric power plant, the Dnipro hydroelectric power plant in Zaporizhzhia.

Many towns and cities were partially or completely cut off from electricity.

Seems that Russians not had enough of the terrible disaster at the Kakhovka hydroelectric power plant last year.

Ukraine needs weapons and air defense against Russian terrorism and genocide.

Льоха боронив нашу країну і мав повернутися живим героєм. Але в підорського каба були інші плани. Останній раз Льоха жартував, що в бліндажі почуває себе безпечніше. Так і вийшло. Тіло вже опознали.

Колись ми були молоді та щасливі. І думали що лише справа часу, коли світ впаде до наших ніг. А тепер я пишу цей пост.

Russians just now deliberately hit a cafe and killed 48 civilians, wounding other 6 people in the village of Groza, Kupyansky District, Kharkiv Oblast.

There is a 6-year-old boy amongst those killed. The number of victims is still counting.
