Mr. @narendramodi, before pointing fingers at Congress, take a hard look at @BJP4Karnataka’s disastrous legacy in Karnataka! We are fulfilling every promise we made to our people – all 5 guarantees implemented with a budget over ₹52,000 crore, and an additional ₹52,903 crore in capital outlay to build Karnataka’s future.
BJP left Karnataka plagued with 40% commission corruption, draining resources that could have transformed lives. We’re using that same 40%—redirecting it to benefit the people. What was your ‘achievement’ here? Empowering corrupt practices, leaving Karnataka debt-ridden, and using propaganda to cover up your failures?
And let’s not forget: under your watch, India’s debt is projected to reach ₹185.27 trillion by FY25—a staggering 56.8% of GDP! This isn’t just bad governance; it’s a burden you’re placing on every Indian’s back.
And the irony? While Karnataka contributes significantly to the Union's coffers, your government starves us of our rightful share to prevent us from implementing guarantee schemes. For every rupee Karnataka gives, we only receive 13 paise back. This is not ‘cooperative federalism’; it’s outright exploitation.
While Congress in Karnataka has delivered, BJP continues to fail Indians nationwide. #KarnatakaTrustsCongress #BJPCorruptionExposed #IndiaDeservesBetter
It is crystal clear. Buch- Puri clearly holding a gun to govt’s head saying if I go down Adani goes down and if Adani goes down then the govt goes down. No other explanation for why she is being allowed to brazen it out for so long.
Indian Olympic Association’s “faulty” sponsorship agreement with Reliance India Limited (#RIL) has given undue favour to RIL and led to a loss of ₹24 crore to #IOA, according to a CAG audit report.

Looks like the BJP is already packing up before the show even starts in J&K! Rewriting the rules to shift power from the Chief Minister to the LG? That’s like changing the referee at halftime because you know the score’s not in your favor. Officers should stick to the rulebook and not get caught up in political power plays—let the elected government actually do the job they’re voted in for!
The BJP has clearly accepted defeat in J&K. Why else would the Chief secretary be assigned the duty to change transaction of business rules of the government to curtail the powers of the Chief minister / elected government and assign the same to the LG? This information has come to me from within the Secretariat. Officers would be well advised to resist any pressure to further disempower the incoming elected government.
I have written this letter to the Hon'ble Prime Minister of India in connection with an earlier letter of mine to him. This is a second letter in that reference.
Rescue operations may have concluded in Wayanad, but the #SOSIYC relief work continues!

Vote For Democracy's report indicating manipulation in at least 79 Parliamentary Constituency seats during the #LokSabhaElections2024 has once again raised question on the election processes.
Surprisingly, the #ElectionCommissionofIndia is silent on this.

Despite sending 48 athletes to the Paris #Olympics, Punjab & Haryana received ₹78 crore & ₹66 cr, respectively, while UP & Gujarat, sending only 9 athletes, got ₹438 crore & ₹426 cr. Is this not biased distribution? How long will BJP continue this discrimination against states?
LTCG to Loot Middle Class | How will removing indexation in calculating LTCG tax affect everyone?
Today, FM @nsitharaman reduced Long Term Capital Gains (LTCG) Tax on properties to 12.5%, but cleverly removed indexation, which adjusts the property price at the time of sale, to account for inflation. How does this impact us? Let's break it down with simple math.
Suppose you bought an apartment in January 2009 for ₹50 lakhs. Fifteen years later, you sold it today for ₹1.5 crore. With indexation, the ₹50 lakhs you paid 15 years ago is considered to be worth ₹1.32 crore today. So, the net profit or capital gain is only ₹17.5 lakhs, and you'd pay only ₹3.5 lakhs as Capital Gains Tax at the rate of 20%.
But without indexation, your capital gain now is ₹1 crore, and at 12.5%, you'd end up paying ₹12.5 lakhs in tax. Essentially, the government takes ₹9 lakhs more than the old method.
Your net profit after buying a property and holding it for 15 years is just ₹5,01,825. You might have paid much much more in loan interest alone. Was it really worth it? Do you call this cleverness or crookedness? #Budget (1/3)
