Thought I'd do a little story thread about my new dwarf on the new #lotro Angmar server, GRUMBLI GRUMBLEBEARD. Here is an account of his first day.

Chapter 1: The Quest for Yarrow Root

@lotro Prospecting has always been one of my favorite activities in the game, so I am enjoying this event very much! Grumbli spent his second day on the new Angmar server digging in Ukhbab-gairu. ⛏️

Chapter 1: The Quest for Yarrow Root

Sure enough, there was now a Yarrow Root for 50 silver! Hooray!

And that concludes Grumbli's Quest for Yarrow Root... Who knows what new adventures await Grumbli Grumblebeard tomorrow!

The merchant said, "Well met! I have no need for Indigo, but I recently posted a Yarrow Root for 50 silver on the Auction House." With that, the merchant disappeared into the Blue. Grumbli returned to Thorin's Hall and visited the Auction House where this adventure all began...

Near the borders of Yondershire, Grumbli hailed a dwarf who looked very busy. He must be a merchant! "Greetings, my good dwarf!" Grumbli said. "Would you happen to have any Yarrow Root? I'd be happy to trade some indigo for it."

Chapter 1: The Quest for Yarrow Root

Act 4. The Merchant of Yarrow.
Grumbli continued his adventure south past Kheledul and toward the elven town of Duillond. He crossed the bridge to the East and found some Indigo by the river, but no sign of Yarrow Root.

Thankfully, this defeat was not in vain, because Bersi continued the fight! Inspired, Grumbli revived and helped to finish off his third wraith of this adventure! 🥳

Bersi bravely attacked the Wraith! Grumbli looked on in disbelief, but Bersi seemed to hold his own... and it would be a shame to let his new friend die! So Grumbli helped... only to be defeated for the first time on this adventure at level 11! 😭

Act 3. The Cook vs the Wraith
Grumbli's search for the Yarrow Root took him far to the east, to the River Lhun. There he met Bersi, a renowned dwarf cook, surrounded by venomous spiders! Grumbli helped Bersi escape the spiders' nest only to find a Wraith waiting for them outside!

Grumbli thought about fleeing... but the wraith seemed to be on his last leg, so Grumbli decided to take a chance and persevere... a single Remorseless Strike and the Wraith was finished! Huzzah! That's the second wraith, and Grumbli is still Undefeated! 🥳

As the battle turned in the elves' favor, Grumbli began to feel a bit of courage and joined the fray himself! "These wraiths aren't so scary after all!" he thought... When suddenly all of the Elves were struck down by the Wraith, who turned his attention to Grumbli. Oh no! 😳

As he fled down the road Grumbli ran into a caravan of High Elf Mariners (surely on their way to cross the Sea into the West) on horseback! Seeing Grumbli was in trouble, the Elves dismounted and started to fight the Wraith. Phew! Grumbli watched the fight from a safe distance.

Now, all dwarves know that there is a dwarf who has been training by running around Gondamon in circles for more than 17 years now... but today Grumbli was surprised to find a WRAITH running around the city instead! OH NO! The Wraith saw Grumbli! Grumbli ran for his life....

Act 2. The Wraith of Gondamon
After dispatching the Wrait and the Goblin Chieftain at Orodost, Grumbli traveled West to Gondamon. "Perhaps the Yarrow root doesn't grow in the snow," he mused. Ah, Gondamon. This is one of Grumbli's favorite cities in Middle-earth.

Thankfully, Grumbli was a safe distance away. As he stood by the gate wondering what to do, an elf and a dwarf came along. The three of them joined forces and managed to take down the Wraith -- Grumbli's first! 🥳

Act 1. The Wraith of Orodost

The first real trouble started in Orodost, the goblin camp near Sarnur. Grumbli met a Dwarf Captain, and the two were working together to hunt down a goblin chieftain deep in the ruins. Suddenly a WRAITH appeared and killed Grumbli's friend! 😶

Like any reasonable dwarf, he first checked the Auction House, but the only Yarrow Root there was for 1 gold coin... that's a lot of money on a new server!😳 And so, Grumbli set forth from Thorin's Hall in search of the elusive Yarrow Root.

Introduction
Grumbli wanted a Yarrow Root. Why does he want this Yarrow Root you ask? Sorry, secret dwarf business. It may or may not be a key component for the legendary Dwarf rez.
