Your heel has hurt for 8 months. PT, orthotics, two cortisone shots. Still there. Before you agree to surgery, there is a treatment with a Grade A evidence rating that most U.S. physicians have never mentioned to you. Thread on functional radiotherapy for plantar fasciitis. 1/12
A language model predicts. It does not look things up.
Search finds documents. Generation writes sentences that sound like documents. I have seen a clean-looking citation that was not the paper I thought I had asked for.
Let it draft. Verify the source. You still sign the note.

A thought for some of you out there who can't shut work off: separate "provide" (the long game) from "presence" (the short game); the concrete leverage is one bounded, shoot for protected presence windows with those you care about, with the work-brain parked.
Learning to fly isn’t really about airplanes.
It’s about turning fear into focus, chaos into checklists, and self‑doubt into disciplined action.
Aviation is a tool that can help unlock potential… Clarity, resilience, leadership, and calm under pressure at 12,000 ft that quietly rewires who you are on the ground.
AUA26 brought a lot of well-earned attention to PSMA imaging and Lu-177 PSMA-617. Radiation oncology has a second underused tool, far less glamorous, with Grade A evidence in benign disease. Most U.S. physicians have never offered it. Reposting from earlier this month.

Heading into AUA26 this week. Watching for three things: PSMA imaging updates, any new data on radioligand sequencing post-ARPI, and where focal therapy is landing for intermediate-risk disease.

Agree. The hardest part is committing to write the post your patients ask you about all the time. I tried this last weekend with a functional radiotherapy thread on plantar fasciitis, low-dose RT for a benign condition that most patients have never heard a radiation oncologist mention. https://t.co/KynBFUtfzu

That is the intro. Future posts will go deeper on dose schedules, safety profile, the US reimbursement picture, and how referral patterns are shifting. Questions welcome. This is the series. #PlantarFasciitis#FunctionalRadiotherapy#RadOnc 12/12

If you are a patient: you can ask directly. "Is functional radiotherapy or low-dose radiation an option for me before we talk about surgery?" Your physician may not have raised it, not because it does not apply, but because awareness is still catching up to the evidence. 11/12
