@AndreasShrugged@tw_ische Thank you for the suggestion. Yes, these correlations are not surprising. They mostly support the obvious connection between school founding and the number of levels. Including strongholds of the governing party is however very promising. #twISCHE42
@AndreasShrugged@tw_ische Neither Protestant nor Catholic proportions in the population are significantly linked ( negatively or positively) to the number of levels. In regions with strong confessional diversity, the number of levels is particularly high. #twISCHE42
@AndreasShrugged@tw_ische There is a difference between the Eastern and Western districts. However, both the cities and the rural communities in eastern Prussia were smaller than in the west. In addition to demographic factors, our other factors (denomination/ financing) certainly play a role #twISCHE42
@JuliaKurig@tw_ische A high denominational diversity of schools suggests that schools are not established for each denomination. Rather, they are larger central schools with more grade levels. We expect further results from the analysis of the individual schools. #twISCHE
@mio_jona @tw_ische @AnnaLindne We would like to question the narrative of a homogeneous development of the expansion of the Prussian Volksschule. We will do this through a regional analysis of the administrative districts (RB) and individual schools. #twISCHE42
Welcome everyone to #histed|s first twitter conference #twISCHE42! We are excited so let’s just dive into the first presentation!
