Here’s a glimpse into the amazing animal expo projects created by our 1st-grade students!
Today, families joined us to hear all about the animals the kids studied during their Sci/ELA units. They shared so many cool animal facts and got to share their writing skills! (1/3)
The creativity and effort on display were impressive! Here’s a sneak peek of some of the student learning and projects that will be showcased at our Open House this Thursday at 6 pm. We can’t wait to see you there! (2/3)

As much as we may be ready for a change of season and warm weather, this was such a sweet display of student curiosity and celebration of their completed work! #JVFConnectED
Students in Mrs. White’s class completed their Winter Animals projects and displayed their work for peers and staff to see outside of their classroom - students enjoyed stopping by in the morning and pointing out their notices and wonders!

Our student council leaders are finalizing “Lifting Spirit Week” plans & completing the Kindness Quilt ❤️
It’s so wonderful to see how they fold in SEL & are encouraging kindness throughout our school community. The completed quilt will be displayed in our upper hallway!
We are always excited to host student teachers!
@CoachZehner introduced Mr. P, our student teacher from Cortland to our Gr 2 scholars before they split into groups for some fun active learning!
Looking forward to the next 6 weeks he has with us!
