The quiet morning prayer no one sees. The choice to forgive when no one's watching. The Scripture you read on a slow afternoon. None of it feels significant in the moment — but God is using all of it. He's shaping a heart that will stand when the storm comes.
"Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up" (Galatians 6:9).
Today matters more than we know.
What's one small faithful step you're taking today?
Onesies to Live By
“One thing I know. I was blind now I see!” (Grateful Man Jn.9:25)
“One thing I do. I live heavenward” (Paul Phil.3:13)
“One thing I desire from God—to gaze on his beauty” (King David Ps.27:4)
“One thing is necessary—intimacy with me” (Jesus Lk.10:42)
Let me remind and encourage you again: God is sovereign; you and I aren't. This isn't just theology we should proclaim on Sunday; it must be the foundation of our identity every day of the week. God is in absolute control, and he's infinitely good.
With every aspect of the incarnation, reason argues for a 50/50 split.  We want a theology that we can get our heads around; however, orthodoxy argues for the truth of “fully God, fully man.”  https://t.co/9lnLXGyuTL via @MicheleDMorin
"Prayers are often born when we reach the end of ourselves, a place where we can no longer bear the heart-ache, minimize it, or find our own solution for it" ... https://t.co/vdsWq9QCHf @muddy_bucher
