Everyone, I've decided that I need to take an extended break from social media, most notably Twitter. I have a number of spiritual and emotional issues I need to work through, and while Twitter has been a help in many ways, I also use it too often to numb and distract.

I'm not sure how long it will be, and I will likely do a bit of lurking from time to time since Twitter is my main source of news. I have met and come to know many excellent people here, and will miss you, though I've never connected w/ people as much as I would have liked.

@la_malinowski @FrDaveNix After consecrating the host, priests (used to) keep their index finger and thumb joined. This was done to protect even the smallest fragment of our Lord's Body from falling, and visibly communicated a belief in the Real Presence. Still required in the TLM, rare to see elsewhere.
