I appreciate your commitment to focusing on the crippling effect of the closure of CVS stores, including @pennbranchdc. Unfortunately, these lease agreements completely block competing stores or anything similar. You should also talk to the landowners, like Burka Brothers.
Pharmacy closures, like the ones on Bladensburg Road and in Penn Branch, are leaving DC families, including our seniors and those in most need, without care. And it is not OK! When elected, I will work strategically to bring back Walgreens, CVS, and others to close the care gap.
