@StevedInJoburg I've found that it can be useful for small things, but only if I can easily verify the correctness of what it's written, and throw out the bits that are wrong. In practice, this mostly means boilerplate code or code that I already know the solution but don't want to type.
It took me a long time to get to writing it up. I really don't have as much time for writing these days as I once did. But I've managed to put out my first blog post for this year. It's about how I'm using #emacs#orgmode to keep on top of everything.

Fake agile is a skills problem, skills problems are system problem, system problems are an incentive problem, incentive problems are an economic problem, economic problems are a global power game problem, global power game problems are a technology problem, technology problems can be solved by using Jira.
This is your periodic reminder there's no such thing as a fractional engineer. If you're assigned 50% to this project & 50% to that, then someone is willing to accept 0 productivity from you in exchange for not telling someone up front that their project isn't being supported.
I'm not a Christmas person, but I'm a sucker for Rust and December coding puzzles. So yeah, I'm going to join the Shuttle Christmas Code Hunt 2023!

I hear that Github is making some... interesting... decisions. Just a reminder that I wrote this thing a while back showing how you can set up your own git server from scratch. https://t.co/RiKLrZg7Gk
I wrote a thing. The really short version is that if you're writing software, I think it's a good idea to write software to make it easier for you personally to write software. https://t.co/Qtyavwjxew
@StevedInJoburg I've heard of a particular problem where smart people are really good at rationalizing things, which makes them susceptible to conspiracies because you get really good at figuring out good reasons why birds are actually government surveillance devices or the earth is flat.
I wrote a thing about how I'm going back to listening to music the old fashioned way: with a big directory of files on my own computer! https://t.co/21wvhHLmyh
Min-max. Save scum. Rest constantly. Murder every NPC after a quest finishes for more xp. Do whatever the mechanics implicitly encourage you to do. Face God and walk backward into hell.
