My message from Vienna is different:
🇲🇽 Mexico is more than cartels.
Mexico is one of the great nations of the Western world — a major economy, an OECD member, a cultural powerhouse and an important partner for Europe.
My proposal is clear: bring Europe and Mexico much closer together. I propose Mexico as part of my long-term EU50 vision — deeper economic integration, stronger political partnership and a common transatlantic future.

Sucedió así.

Después del intento de golpe del 8 de enero de 2023, el Supremo Tribunal Federal investigó las redes de desinformación que habían preparado el asalto a las instituciones. Entre ellas, Derecha Diario (que hoy opera en México).

El juez Alexandre de Moraes ordenó a X suspender las cuentas de esas redes. Elon Musk se negó, insultó al juez, exigió su destitución, cerró las oficinas de X en Brasil. Actuó como si estuviera por encima de las leyes brasileñas.

Lula defendió un principio elemental: cualquier persona o empresa, por poderosa que sea, debe respetar la Constitución del país donde opera.

El Supremo ratificó la decisión por unanimidad.

Cuando Starlink, también propiedad de Musk, amenazó con desobedecer, la justicia brasileña congeló sus recursos.

Un mes después, Musk hizo todo lo que había jurado que no haría: bloqueó las cuentas, pagó una multa, y se sometió a los tribunales brasileños. Sólo entonces X volvió a operar.

Brasil demostró que una empresa puede ser más rica que muchos países, pero no más poderosa que un Estado dispuesto a defender su soberanía.

Lula no le pidió a Musk que respetara la democracia. Brasil lo obligó.

People keep saying Trump term II is the most corrupt administration ever, so I built a model to find out if it was true.

I took the UN's definition of corruption, turned it into eight criteria and 100 points, and scored the leaders history remembers for looting their countries: Marcos, Suharto, Mobutu, Abacha, Obiang, Putin.

Then I put every president since Eisenhower on the same scale, both parties, with every exoneration counted right alongside the convictions.

Nixon scored 41 and no other American President scored over a 25.

Trump's second term scored a 91, which ties him with Suharto and Mobutu and puts him above Marcos and Abacha.

So he is not only the most corrupt president in American history. At this pace he finishes his term level with the most corrupt rulers of the last hundred years.

En Francia acaban de arrestar a más de 200 personas violentas después de un partido de la Champions, igual en EUA y en Alemania. En todos los países existen estos cavernícolas, por eso no me gusta cuando acá decimos: "Qué triste que así seamos los mexicanos"; no señores, qué triste que así sea la gente violenta, del país que sea.

No es que "los mexicanos no merezcamos ganar", es que esos pocos no merecen ser mexicanos.

A tiny bee just did what chemotherapy couldn't.

Scientists in Australia discovered that honeybee venom can wipe out 100% of aggressive breast cancer cells in under 60 minutes.
And the healthy cells around them? Barely touched.

The breakthrough came from Dr. Ciara Duffy and her team at the Harry Perkins Institute of Medical Research, working alongside the University of Western Australia.
They tested venom drawn from 312 honeybees and bumblebees across Australia, Ireland, and England.

The target: triple-negative breast cancer and HER2-enriched breast cancer. Two of the deadliest, most stubborn forms of the disease.
The weapon: melittin. The same tiny peptide that makes a bee sting burn.

At one specific dose, melittin tore through cancer cell membranes completely within an hour. Within just 20 minutes, it shut down the chemical signals cancer cells need to grow and multiply.
Bumblebee venom, which lacks melittin, did nothing. Zero effect, even at high concentrations.

Scientists then recreated melittin synthetically in the lab and got almost identical results, meaning no bees need to be harmed to develop the therapy.

Published in the peer-reviewed journal npj Precision Oncology, the findings are still early-stage. Human trials haven't happened yet.

But one thing is clear. Nature has been hiding answers in plain sight all along, sometimes inside the smallest creatures on Earth.
