@Waldorfmanhaha@Soteriology101 The man says he will take the Bible at its word, and believe it even when he can’t fully explain how all of it works and you name him a gnostic for that? He’s not claiming to have deep hidden knowledge. He’s saying he DOESN’T have deep hidden knowledge.
@Soteriology101@_jonbowlin Sheesh. Leighton, it’s impossible for people to engage with you about this subject. I can’t tell you how many times I see one of your posts and I begin to type out a reply before deleting it because I know this is the sort of response you’ll have. It’s just not worth it.
@McJuggerNuggets “Grieving the loss of their unborn child.” Sir, that is not what you are doing. You murdered your child. You are grieving the loss of the idea of a perfect child that you held previously. There is one victim in this situation, and it’s not you.
@Soteriology101 As much as you might face palm about this mischaracterization of your theology, so many of your posts give Calvinists the same feeling.
@kxx99779572@GlobalWresOrder I don’t know what video you’re watching, but in the one linked here they were ALL the way out of bounds. How do you expect there to be a takedown, let alone a pin? 🤷♂️
@Soteriology101 🤔“But we are bound to give thanks to God always for you, brethren beloved by the Lord, because God from the beginning chose you for salvation through sanctification by the Spirit and belief in the truth,”
II Thessalonians 2:13 NKJV
@AKofiCup Heard a guy say that using a manuscript was “like preaching with training wheels,” once. 🤣 It had zero impact on me and I manuscript all my sermons. As if the Holy Spirit isn’t present when we are preparing. 🙄
@1pckt@Truth_matters20 Could easily ask why a consistent Arminian would pray for God to save someone. (You should be attempting to convince the person, not asking God to violate their will.) But here we are replying to a post meant to find unity between the two sides. Would be in bad taste, I think.
@BlueTimeFairy@TexasPreacher Which of us is acting like Satan? The one who is standing upon the truth of God’s revealed word, or the one who casts doubt on what God has said? Take a look at how Satan tempted Eve in the garden. Look at how he tempted Christ in the wilderness. By twisting God’s word.
@BlueTimeFairy@TexasPreacher This is utterly wrong. If God violates the scriptures He gave us, then He would be a liar and we would have no basis for any of our beliefs.
