@_KennyUong_@SoundTransit The original line has been extended at both south and north, as well.
Those of us waiting at South Bellevue have just been told that the ribbon cutting ceremony is over in Bellevue.
@LakotaMan1 Or make mail-in voting the standard everywhere. Or make it easy to request and cast an "absentee ballot" even if you're not going to be "absent."
@Seattle_Tone The original "Skid Row," trailing off the right margin. All the buildings facing the park here (and the park) are still standing.

@Seattle_Tone You will find many businesses are moving to this practice, not just Target. Some are also adding receipt check and gates at exits.
Costs for setting up these measures get passed on to the consumer, as do theft losses, but hopefully those will diminish (that's the plan, anyway).
@freehawk52@KenJennings@KBAndersen Strangely, Mr. Sundgard wrote the book for the Broadway show "Rhapsody," which cost a fortune to produce, and ran for a grand 14 performances. I think Max Bialystock may have had a hand in producing it.

@KenJennings I once stayed in a hotel where we discovered a porn paperback in the bedside table. We didn't read it, but left it for the next guest to enjoy.
Sadly, that hotel was demolished when Link Light Rail was extended from Tukwila to Sea-Tac. Wonder if the book was still lurking there.
@angryseattle I love the two full-sized Target stores near us (Southcenter and Renton Landing). I wandered once into the Ballard Target "boutique" and couldn't find whatever it was I went there for. Have not gone back. Still, sorry they are closing, and for the lost jobs.
