@lutheranlaymen@chris_paavola A good chunk of the reason I have those chats is because I believe we’ve somehow convinced ourselves that fighting against the world, the flesh and the devil are not enough, and instead we should spend much more time attacking each other.

@chris_paavola@KF5SKQ@UAC1580 When a congregation lacks a rightly called pastor, that work is either irregular, intermittent, or unavailable. That’s not just an administrative inconvenience it’s a theological wound. Currently 9.5% of LCMS churches lack a called pastor. Even the barns are lacking.
