My boyfriend and I were at the mall and he decided to act like he didn’t know me. He walks up all smooth and goes, “You’re too pretty to be shopping alone. Let me carry your bags.” Before I could even react, this girl from the next aisle pops up next to me and goes, “She’s not alone. I’m right here.” And just stands there staring at him 😭I told her he’s actually my boyfriend, but the way she clocked in for duty??? but honestly, girl… I appreciate you 😭👏

when my older sister was younger her and my mom had this code system to help each other out of situations,

like if someone at school invited her somewhere but she didn't actually want to go she would d call my mom and

ask permission but she woud say "please Mom" at the end instead of her usual "please Mama" and my mom would immediately know to say she was grounded or had a dentist appointment or some excuse like that,

they also had it set up the reverse way so if my mom was on a bad date and my sister called to check in my mom would call her "sweetheart" instead of her normal nickname and my sister would say

she needed help with homework or heard something outside and was scared so my mom had to come home right away,

the whole point is that every household should have backup plans like this to look out for each other, That’s actually really smart, I wish more people communicated like that
