Since Gary Neville described the opening 15 minutes of the second half against Fulham as the worst he’d seen from the club since childhood, the #MUFC players have clearly taken it upon themselves to prove they can sink even lower.
Oh well. Bad news unfortunately. My MRI yesterday shows a big new tumour. I’ve been given 6-8 weeks to live. So my fundraising isn’t for treatment now, it’s to house my wife and youngest son. So please donate at https://t.co/frzjOFxgnz or https://t.co/k00R5GYXiN. Please.
A reminder that back in November 2024, Manchester United, Liverpool, Arsenal and Tottenham lodged legal notices which reserved the right to seek compensation if Manchester City were found guilty of serious financial breaches of the Premier League’s rules.
He sneezed so I turned and said "I can't believe i get to say this but Bless you" and he said "right on". And I swear it is the funniest calm I have ever experienced.
@realDonaldTrump watch the trial. See the actual evidence. THEN ask why a proper investigation wasn’t done in the first place!
No person would support her for killing children unless they didn’t think she did it. It’s most of the world, not just a few!
🚨 David de Gea asked about his message after Manchester United’s defeat to Hull:
🗣️ Reporter: “David, you posted: ‘It’s not how it starts, it’s how it ends.’ Was that about United?”
🗣️ De Gea: “You can interpret it however you want.”
🗣️ Reporter: “That sounds like a yes.”
🗣️ De Gea: “United lose the 1st game and suddenly everyone is talking. I understand. It’s Manchester United. But I look at the club now, Carrick is there, you see the direction they’re trying to go.
I believe something good is being built. A lot of former players still love that club. We want to see United competing for the biggest trophies again.”
🗣️ Reporter: “Rivals are already laughing after 1 game.”
🗣️ De Gea: “I know. Everyone has seen how United started. Let’s save the judgement until we see how they end.”
🚨Bruno Fernandes asked about David de Gea’s message after Manchester United’s defeat to Hull City:
🗣️ Reporter: “Bruno, David de Gea posted, ‘It’s not how it starts, it’s how it ends.’ Was that message about Manchester United?”
🗣️ Bruno Fernandes: “I think everyone knows what David meant. [laughs] We lost the first game and immediately the noise became huge. That’s Manchester United. When you lose, everyone wants to talk, everyone has an opinion and suddenly the whole season is being judged after one match.
“But David knows this club very well. He knows how much expectation there is, and he also knows that a season is not decided in August. We are disappointed with the Hull result, there’s no hiding from that, but we have to respond rather than spend the next few weeks feeling sorry for ourselves.
“Michael Carrick has a clear idea of where he wants to take this team, and we believe in what we’re building. We have new players who are still learning each other, and that takes time. That doesn’t excuse losing 2–0, but it means we cannot throw everything away because of one bad afternoon.
“I actually like David’s message because he understands what this club is about. People will laugh at United now, and that’s normal when you lose. Let them laugh. Our job is to make sure they have less to laugh about when the season reaches the important stages.
“So yes, I understand his message. It’s not about how we started — it’s about how we respond and where we finish.”
