In theory they understand the law and will write laws that don’t have unintended consequence. IN THEORY doing heavy lifting.

And yes executive orders are used too frequently.

If we both just dig our heels in nothing gets better. The benefit of divided government is it encourages us to find solutions that we can all live with.

And before the inevitable the framers were smarter comment…lots of them thought it was okay to own other human beings.
