Remote work changed my life MORE than my salary did.
The money matters, obviously.
But the real flex is no commute, quiet mornings, midday walks, dinner plans after work, and still having energy to build a life outside my job.
I DO NOT want self-driving cars.
I DO NOT want humanoid robots.
I DO NOT want Al in every app I use.
I want clean water.
I want a stable climate.
I want a habitable planet.
I do think how a person does one thing is how they do most things. If they lack discipline or follow through in one aspect of their lives, it can be indicative of how they show up in other aspects. Just an observation
Respect your place in people's lives. If they don't include you, don't force your way in. If they don't share with you, don't chase answers. If they don't invite you, don't force your presence. There’s a quiet kind of peace that comes from knowing where you stand and choosing not to overextend yourself to be accepted.
They really killed Sandra bland and proped her dead body up for a mug shot photo, in the 21st century& got away with it. Like thats some cartoon shit.
I respect WIRED so much.
Tech companies are FUMING because they thought it would be positive PR for their products.
Instead WIRED is publishing articles which expose the downsides of AI and tech surveillance. And now they’re getting sued for it. Support them!
