You may not understand it now, it may not make sense yet, but one day, you’ll see it was a necessary step to reach your destiny. It looked like a setback, but really, it was a setup.
Are you taking time to declare God’s goodness over your life? Are you speaking victory over your future? It’s not enough to do it every once in a while. It needs to become a habit. All through the day declare, "I’m blessed, I’m strong, I’m healthy."
Because you’ve been faithful, because you have the right motives, God is about to show out in your life. There’s about to be a shift. God is going to put resources into the hands of the righteous.
The One that matters has His eyes on you. The One that controls the universe, the One that turns people’s hearts, He’s watching over you. He’s working out His plan for your life.
"God, give me the wisdom to reject negative thoughts and fix my mind on what is true, honorable and right. Help me to hide Your scriptures in my heart so I can come into agreement with You whenever I sense a need in my spirit. Your Word is true, and I'm believing You. Amen."
As long as you’re in a striving mode, trying to fix everything, thinking that it’s all up to you, then you’re not going to know He’s God. You’re not going to see His favor, His goodness. It’s very freeing when you realize you don’t have to make everything happen.
You don’t have to wait until everything is perfect; you can flourish in the trouble, see favor in the famine, be promoted in the pandemic. My challenge today is to do what Paul did, do what Joseph did, keep being your best where you are.
