Bussin’ Bowl Spotlight
Taylor Lewan (Michigan)
Record against Nebraska: 1-2
Hobby: poop dollar
Major: General Studies
Twitter handle: @taylorlewan77
Sophomore: Said to be a game that Nebraska was disinterested in because they were missing a lot of guys due to injury, Taylor played a role on the team as they went to take advantage of a wounded Nebraska team. They won the game 45-14. (Michigan lost to Iowa that year - a team Nebraska beat.)
Junior: As Taylor looked to step up as a real leader & player his junior season, he walked into Memorial Stadium and got his star QB injured —as he and his oline failed to protect anyone that game, throwing 3 INTs and only averaging 2.6 yards per carry —Nebraska had their way with Michigan as they mopped their ass 23-9. Nebraska’s defense, led by senior Will Compton, was awarded their Blackshirts following the game.
Senior: As a senior, Taylor led the wolverines to a 14-17 loss against the Huskers which snapped a 12-game home win streak. Taylor was the anchor of an offensive line that that rushed the ball 36 times for a total of -21 yards. Michigan finished that year with a 7-6 record.
He will be returning to Memorial Stadium this weekend where he has an 0-1 record.
Welcome back, Taylor!
