Honestly disappointing how Ateneo is handling this situation. Wala man lang tumawag sa parents immediately after the incident? PUBMAT MUNA BAGO SABIHAN ANG MAGULANG? Kung ano mang systema meron kayo dyan, napakabasura niyo. @ateneodemanilau
Wdym Ateneo released the statement first BEFORE informing the family of the deceased in private? Napakasahol. The victims and their families deserve better.
Just caught up on the news in the Philippines. Nakakalungkot na umabot sa sitwasyon na ganun, in fact, it’s so sad that it even happened. 😕 I guess all we can do as citizens and voters is watch, learn , take note and continue to pray for our country. 😕🙏🏼
During the senate hearings, estimates are the national budget can do with P1 trillion less. Napupunta lang ito sa kickback, insertions, lagay sa substandard or ghost projects.
My biggest “What if”:
What if the Philippines could’ve been a first-world country years ago, if public funds hadn’t been siphoned off and investments weren’t crippled by graft?
Come to think of it, our country actually has what it takes to catch up fast. We have a young workforce, a rising GDP, a growing economy, and strong human-capital potential. ANG DAMING MAHUHUSAY AT MATATALINONG PILIPINO!
However, as we can all see with our very own eyes, BILLIONS (wouldn’t be surprised if even TRILLIONS) are lost to corruption, draining money that could pay for schools, hospitals, infrastructure, and many more.
Pwede ‘di ba? Pwede maging first-world country kung hindi lang tayo araw-araw ginagago.
I hope this will be a reminder for everyone to always vote for a leader who has integrity, wisdom, and a heart to serve our nation and the needs of the people.
The corruption is too much. Change needs to happen.
