@AlexanderN2022@ProfEmilyOster Bare in mind a common response currently is putting people on ‘shake diets’ of roughly 800 kcals. This would be an improvement.
There’s always risks involved with any diet, but teaching people the importance of WHAT foods to consume would go a long way also.
If you’re living for that ‘cheat’ meal on the weekend already, it’s likely the way you’re eating won’t provide long term results.
Here’s my three top tips to create a solid foundation
1. Eat more protein. This is a super simple way to be feeling fuller for longer.
(1/2)
2. Don’t cut out food groups. People are very quick to ‘cut out’ carbs. But most don’t fully understand what foods actually contain. Cutting out a food group can quickly lead to over indulging on weekends.
3. Sleep more. When tired it can be harder to resist temptation.
One day of ‘healthy’ eating won’t make you look lean overnight. You know that.
So why do you think one day of eating off-track will f*ck up your progress?
