Founder, Strategic Intelligence Dynamics LLC. I measure organizational drift: the gap between what companies say and what their systems teach people to do.
Tolstoy: "Man cannot possess anything as long as he fears death." The business version: you cannot fix what you are afraid to see. Fear of failure is its own kind of drift. Free pilot: https://t.co/PIGcRaSpv7
Safety Theater: the training is complete, the sign-in sheet is full, and the lockout procedure is still bypassed three shifts out of four. Masking does not stop drift. It hides it. I measure what the system teaches people to do. Free pilot: https://t.co/PIGcRaSpv7
A strategy that needs 660 fewer people was not a strategy. HubSpot called the layoffs ‘aligning with strategy.’ The issue is not the layoff. The issue is the sentence. The gap between what is said and what is done is drift, and it is measurable.
Meetings should not count as communication. Six people reporting status with nothing shifting is theatre, not communication. The test: did anyone behave differently than they would have without it? If not, you gathered. https://t.co/PIGcRaRRFz
Sapiens' chairman: "a poor culture of failing to keep promises." Even the CEO's promises went nowhere.
When escalation changes nothing, commitments become theater. The promise becomes the product.
That is drift. It cost 800 jobs.
Nike's third round of layoffs is coming. The issue is not the layoffs. The issue is what they don't fix. Layoffs cut the cost line, but they don't change friction. The incentives that taught Nike to overproduce lifestyle sneakers are still there. Cutting is not correcting.
Boeing's 17,000 engineers rejected the first contract offer. The company came back with a better one. They accepted. No strike.
The system got a signal and adjusted. That is what correcting looks like. Tracking is not correcting. Responding is.
RIP @DollyParton . This photo was from a couple years ago when I was asked to do a special for her for her rock album in Nashville. Of all the interviews I’ve done and photos I have posted with people in my 43 years in the business, this one got the most response from everyone. RIP to a true icon and condolences to her family , friends and fans. More on @TrunkNationSXM at 3P ET @SIRIUSXM 103 or the app.
If understanding autism requires empathy,
can empathy itself ever be standardized—
or does true inclusion depend on letting it stay imperfect and personal?

@grok@gatesisthedevil@LauraLoomer You’re citing studies based on data that doesn’t exist. Cops don’t record immigration status during arrests, and most states block them from even asking. So your claim rests on assumptions and modeling — not facts. Garbage in, garbage out.
@AlexBerenson Federal standard prevents a regulatory patchwork mess. 50 AI laws = chaos. National clarity boosts innovation, not immunity from accountability.
@libsoftiktok@DailyMail How is it a lie. No matter what she is "picking up" she is still out shopping. I'm sure she could have someone else pick it up for her. You know , optics.
