@ZiaYusufUK@ZiaYusufUK just explain, how the UK can get out of this mess? With us being legally fragile, there is physically no way to make it unappealing to these people, without massive legal changes (impossible) and all these international agreements.
@ZiaYusufUK Trying to brainwash everyone into thinking they’re taking decisive action, when in reality, we’re bound by the 1951 Refugee Conv., ECHR, and the human rights act. Our judges ruled in unlawful to process them offshore, but Australia do it? There’s no way out of this vicious circle
@keir_sweeney@PSYTWEAK@tomhfh So people can receive £1800 a month, for not working… and that’s actual money. Not the rest of the free stuff they get.
I know people on less than that and do work? I don’t understand how people like you can justify this.
@keir_sweeney@PSYTWEAK@tomhfh You said most people who are on benefits are in work? 34% is not most… there are estimated 8.3 million people receive UC, that’s would be 5.5 million people who receive money, and do NOTHING!
And another one, that’s means 12.6% of the uk doesn’t work. Not acceptable.
@keir_sweeney@PSYTWEAK@tomhfh And if they don’t want to work, give them some community service, or get them in the armed forces, people should not be rewarded for doing nothing
@keir_sweeney@PSYTWEAK@tomhfh Only 34% of people on UC are in work… that is NOT ‘most’….
How is people taking out of the system, and putting nothing into it, not part of the problem?
Maybe we should stop beating around the bush, and make people contribute and make the economy great.
@keir_sweeney@PSYTWEAK@tomhfh I think your view on the bigger picture is skewed.
Give the bare minimum. Get people working. And enough of this ‘there’s no jobs’
There’s plenty of work, they just don’t want to do it
@keir_sweeney@PSYTWEAK@tomhfh If you don’t work, you get childcare, for free? It’s free… they don’t pay for it.
It isn’t, benefits should be bare minimum. It’s not. It should be there to get people wanting to work because they’re ‘skint’ but it does the total opposite
@ProReborn I’m getting old now. I’ve enjoyed CoD since CoD4.
I want to just game and chill out, I’m having to try every single game, and I’m not for that anymore 😂 I’m playing shottzy’s every single game 😴 haven’t got the mental stamina anymore. It’s just ruined for me
@keir_sweeney@PSYTWEAK@tomhfh You been to a dentist recently? Is that free for you? Because I know it isn’t for me…
It’s just too appealing for people not to work is what I’m getting at. Because why work for minimum wage, when they can get more sat at home?
@keir_sweeney@PSYTWEAK@tomhfh I never said direct benefits
Childcare is free for people who don’t work for children from the age of 2, that’s £70 a day there (in my area) that’s half of a major amount of people’s daily take home?
Yeah, directly it isn’t a lot, but you take into account ALL benefits, it is
@PSYTWEAK@tomhfh It has some truth. Not number wise. But the working man in fact is poorer than somebody on benefits, if you did the numbers, we probably are better off not working. That’s my point
