He was always just looking for the next big opportunity to collect government assistance. Back then it was sustainable energies, now it’s space “exploration”. At the moment, nothing else beats the dollar amount needed to attempt that goal. Good luck with Tesla. Unless Space X absorbs them (just like most of his other ventures), it will suffer a slow and painful decline.
