They invented the Gerd Müller Trophy after Lewandowski's record-breaking season for Bayern in 20/21 to deny him the B d'Or.
Then revived the Finalissima after 37 years once Messi won with Argentina his first Copa.
This was the first and last time Ligue 1 gave out this award.
If it comes down to Baleba or Koné, I'm picking Baleba every single time.
Koné is a great budget option for the squad, but Baleba's athleticism + ground coverage is excatly what we need next to Mainoo, Santos and Tielemans.
Also his ceiling is way higher than Kone + he is prem proven.
Evolución de los argentinos
2019: Todo está amañado 🥲
2021-2025: Hay que ser llorón para creer todo está amañado. La tenés adentro 🤣🤣
2026: Todo está amañado 🥲
I really like Rogers, man. That profile at his peak performance is one of the best to watch in the game, aggressive ball-carrying, game-breaking quality around the box, TOP athleticism, all qualities suited for the modern game. Love the way he spoke about his style of play when he got in the England camp too, properly humble lad.
Think it really needs to be factored in just how many minutes he’s played for Villa too. 8,900 minutes since Feb ‘24 alongside a World Cup and starting 37/38 league games for Villa this season ~ for a player that needs sharpness to maximises his best attributes, that is a big point.
@ZAYN_Z7@TheAthleticFC How tf does Rashford's integration affect two positions??? Lazy excuses from the board, just sign a LB , can't be relying on Luke Shaw + Dorgu not at that level yet.
