Most people voting in the primary will be democratic voters, and most democratic voters do in fact like Pelosi. Insulting her will absolutely hurt Markey with undecided voters.

If you don't see that this isn't about the majority, all I can say is that's idiotic.

Policy commitments do. Young voters should be recognized & respected as any other electorate.
