I didn’t leave the Democratic Party. It left me.
I was a lifelong Jewish Democrat who believed in equality, civil rights, and standing with the persecuted—not as slogans, but as obligations. As a Jewish American, those values were instilled in me and instilled in us.
Jewish lawyers marching with MLK at Selma. Supporting DACA. Advocating for LGBTQ rights.
It all felt natural—because Jewish history teaches us what happens when hate is ignored.
After October 7th, something broke.
Instead of moral clarity, I watched antisemitism explode in my party—especially on college campuses—while institutions and leaders who pride themselves on “equality” stayed silent.
Calls for violence against Jews were rationalized in ways that would never be tolerated for any other group.
That was the turning point. What I saw wasn’t equality in action. It was justice with carve-outs for “The Jews”
I didn’t abandon my values. The party did.
I’m now a Republican because equality only works if it applies to everyone—or no one.
Follow me on my journey as I use my platform to call out antisemitism.
@PriorityWaste, your bio says you pride yourself on being environmentally sound, following best practices, and having an incredible safety record.
You also employ Rick Embry, who spent his day attacking Jews.
Your Presidents Day update? Normal operations.
Your Valentine’s poem about yellow trucks? Sweet.
Your “respect the grind” post? Respect doesn’t extend to Jewish people, apparently.
145 followers. A clean image. And a payroll that includes a vile racist.
Congratulations on getting the job done today, Rick Embry.
Hope your “best practices” include firing him.
Greece just had enough.

They're burning bridges.

A $50,000 missile stops a $800 rocket. That is the math of the Iron Dome.
Developed by Rafael Advanced Defense Systems, it became operational in 2011.
The system solves the engineering problem of intercepting short-range rockets over populated areas.
Combat intercept rate: over 90%.
Cost per Tamir interceptor: roughly $50,000. Cost of a Qassam: roughly $800.
This asymmetry changed asymmetric warfare. Cheap rocket terror is no longer viable.
Iron Dome made the calculus of attacking Israeli civilians unprofitable.

Before an IDF airstrike, the target receives a warning no other military gives.
A small inert munition hits the roof. Minutes later, the real bomb drops.
Phone calls and leaflets follow. Civilians evacuate.
This protocol, formalized during Operation Cast Lead in 2008, is called roof knocking.
The US military in Fallujah dropped no such warnings.
The Russian Air Force in Aleppo gave none.
Only the IDF systematically alerts noncombatants before destroying a military target.
The result: a civilian casualty ratio no other urban war has matched.

@Eric36910 No Israeli law requires DNA tests. The population registry stopped recording ethnicity in 2005. The Chief Rabbinate — a religious body, not the state — accepts DNA in some lineage cases. 2M Arab citizens vote and hold Knesset seats; no DNA test needed for that.
The claim that Jews are European colonizers collapses under genetic evidence.
A 2010 study by Dr. Doron Behar and colleagues at Rambam Health Care Campus analyzed DNA from 14 Jewish communities.
Mizrahi Jews from Iraq, Iran, and Yemen share over 80% Middle Eastern ancestry.
Ethiopian Jews carry a unique genetic signature linking them to ancient Israelite populations.
Ashkenazi Jews also share a significant Levantine component.
The colonizer narrative is biological fiction.

@FarReicher66701 Ancient DNA says otherwise: Bronze Age Levantine remains (Cell, 2020) — modern Jews derive over 50% of their ancestry from them. 'Jew' = Yehudi, a man of Judah. Hebrew has been written for ~2,700 years. The Khazar-replacement theory fails every genetic test.
