I woke up at 6 AM. Got there by 8 AM. I was freezing cold—but I got everything I wanted. One day, I’ll work @NotionHQ Plus, all of the employees were super friendly and fun to be around. Next time, I’ll bring my resume.
I’m back to square one. I’m trying to figure out how to balance between work and my hobbies after moving to Japan. I have been mainly focusing on work which has made the experience not as fun… I have a few new Notion templates I want to create.
Since I’m kinda settled in Japan. The next template I will be creating is a business hub “template.” Things have been unnecessarily chaotic these past few months.
I’ve been gone from Twitter for so long because I’ve been thinking about going back home. I have the meanest classroom teacher. I honestly feel like giving up. I’ve been waiting for seven years to move to Japan.
I didn’t come this far to give up, but I also need to be realistic. I enjoy my students but I dread going to work everyday because I’m just going to be criticized by the other teacher for everything. Not to mention, this is also someone who doesn’t speak to me…
As I got my belongings situated in the basket. An older Japanese man came inside with my mouse! I was so lost for words. I thought my mouse was gone forever. I worked really hard on that. I really hope he could tell how grateful I was for that.
Friday I brought home my cork board to make some improvements. As I was walking to Daiso. One of the mice I made flew off the board. I heard someone say, “she lost one.” I was just going to hold that L. When I walked inside of Daiso I removed the rest of the mice from the board.
I haven’t worked on any of my hobbies or “explored” Japan because I’ve been tooooooo busy with work and getting settled. I can’t believe it’s only been a month or so… It feels like at least 4 months has passed.
I’ve been sick this past week. It’s not Covid or influenza A. However, I cough in a way I’ve never coughed in my life. Sometimes when I got into a coughing frenzy—I become “paralyzed” or “stuck” in a cough until I cough again. It’s the most worrisome thing I’ve ever experienced.
The little food trucks in Japan have the best food! The Apple pie was amazing. I definitely need to go back during dinner time to try the other dishes. Everything looked GOOD!
