@FudgeChummy Bloodborne is a great game but the vials system is complete dogshit. If you’re ass at the game you’re going to dedicate a lot of time farming for vials, especially if you get hard stuck on a boss. It just feels bad, and doesn’t really serve a purpose other than tedium
@H0llow_Dawn They’re similar in the way that they both want you to prioritize resource management but they do it in drastically different ways imo. Like idk how you can look at enemy encounters in DQIII and DQXI and say those are the exact same thing, they fundamentally change your approach
@JoJonta99 But in other games like early DQ where every 5 steps you take no matter where you are you have to clear out 2-5 jobbers it gets unbelievably tedious to get anywhere, and that sucks balls (even though I love the games dearly). The real answer though is just it’s a jrpg staple
@JoJonta99 You’re getting jumped for asking this question but I don’t think you’re wrong to. It’s hard to give a “single valid reason” because it really just depends on the game. A game like Pokemon makes perfect sense to have monsters jumping out of tall grass, caves etc. -
I’ll never forget when this game came out and for months afterward fans were desperately trying to convince everyone that this game was amazing, I’m happy to see most everyone agreeing this looks like dogshit
I understand the people who say they didn’t necessarily need to shoot her since they could’ve easily overpowered this out of shape old woman, but at the same time you need to ask yourself if anything of value was lost by a psycho murderer being shot in the street like a dog
@Okena__ I honestly think more people would be cool with invasions in souls games if more people just did goofy shit like this. This is so ridiculous you can’t even be mad about it, it’s just funny
@AlSwearengen92@SEGAGuys Metal Gear Solid on the PS1 is the first one that comes to mind. Way ahead of it’s time graphically and mechanically, and revolutionized stealth in video games
@isaiahdaboy No idea how anyone can watch The Wire and say it’s “copaganda”, when it depicts an overwhelming majority of the Baltimore PD as selfish pieces of shit who only care about making quotas or busting heads. Some people just see what they want to see and don’t use their heads
@roozie14@grimesclarkluvr It doesn’t feel as “smooth” as some of the later entries and the driving is pretty bad, but other than that it still holds up extraordinarily well imo just takes some getting used to
@Refresh_RM Delirium is one of the only bosses in Isaac that’s just genuinely not fun in the least to fight against. Unless my build is strong enough to just shut him down completely I usually don’t even bother
@Gorb77635 It’s baffling to me that Lilith can be so far towards the top in anything other than Greed Mode. Other than that and the Apollyon slander this ain’t even a bad list
@MightyKeef As someone who also feels that sort of “guilt” every now and then, the only thing that really matters is that you’re enjoying your time. If you’re having fun playing a game you’ve beaten a few times than you should play it, there’s always time to play a new game down the road
@bellbearinghunt If you haven’t done them before I’d say it’s worth it just to fight all the unique chalice bosses, or if you need a specific blood gem or weapon variant for min-maxing purposes. Other than that there’s really not much there to see
@billybrizzle420 The first season wasn’t bad when it was setting up John Dutton to be more of a villain character, forcing people out to maintain his stranglehold on his land and his wealth. Then every subsequent season sucked him off and turned him into a hero and it got significantly worse
