Tom Holland would call ‘Spider-Man’ producers from ‘THE ODYSSEY’ set in order to “lay down the law" about filming movies the Christopher Nolan way:
“I'd say, ‘We are not going to come to set & figure it out. We need to know why we are making this movie beyond the fact that it’s ‘Spider-Man 4’, they make loads of money & we’re going to just have a big summer. Why are we making this movie?’ And Destin was super instrumental in that.”

I will believe AI is driving productivity gains in the old economy when a front desk person checks me into a hotel with less than fifteen hundred keystrokes and mouse clicks.
Backrooms feels like the end of whatever reamining cultural line there was between cinema and video games, tbh. I didn't even know the origin of the concept but the moment I saw Chewitel move into the Backroom space I thought "oh the origin of this is no clipping in a game."
Backrooms is tight. Very strong first movie, creepy. Deserves a sequel ala Aliens where it gets more into the background story and gets more actiony.
Alternate title could be "Uncanny Valley"
