Look at these little beauties! Spent most of yesterday morning oogling at fungi in the forests near Machynlleth. The miniature Mycena and Marasmius fungi festooning beech nuts and twigs were by far the highlight. Just love 'em! 🍄💚🍂

BREAKING NEWS: Pedran has been sighted in the UK
He was spotted on 26th August - that's 15 days after we last saw him on the Dyfi - on Featherstone Bridge in Northumberland. This is around 175 miles north-east of the Dyfi.

Clywedog Reservoir near Llanidloes which is used to keep flows up on the River Severn has continued to empty rapidly during August.
A 4.5m drop in levels from the end of July.
