🧠 My hot #CROI2024 takeaway so far is that the brain will be our biggest hurdle for HIV cure because we’re struggling to get past the blood-brain barrier to CNS reservoirs and once we do, neurocognitive side effects are likely to severely limit rollout in an aging population
