France is replacing Windows with Linux on 2.5 million government computers.

Most people have no idea this is happening.

It all started when the US sanctioned the ICC prosecutor. He woke up locked out of his Microsoft email. Just like that.

Europe realized your software vendor can be used as a weapon against you.

France's response:

→ Windows out across all 2.5 million government machines. Linux in.
→ Microsoft Teams already replaced by a French open source alternative.
→ National health data migrating off American cloud to a sovereign French platform.
→ AI tools, databases, network equipment and antivirus all on the exit list.
→ Every ministry must submit a full migration plan by autumn 2026.

The proof it works already exists inside France.

The Gendarmerie has been running Linux on 103,000 police computers since 2008. Saves €2 million a year. Total ownership cost down 40%.

France is not alone.

Germany saved €15 million in 2026 alone after moving 30,000 PCs to Linux. Denmark dumped Microsoft Office entirely.

A continental exodus from American tech is underway.

The only question left is who controls the kill switch on yours.

And you're calling Greenland poorly run?
Greenland has universal healthcare. Free education. One of the lowest incarceration rates in the world. Nobody goes bankrupt there because they got sick. Nobody dies in a waiting room because their insurance said no.
"NATO wasn't there when we needed them." When exactly was that, champ? September 11? Because NATO invoked Article 5 for the first and only time in history FOR YOU. Soldiers from dozens of countries deployed, fought, bled, and died in Afghanistan FOR YOU. Australia wasn't even in NATO and we still showed up. For 20 years.

Skandaliczny projekt Polskiego Stronnictwa Ludowego, pardon Łowieckiego dotyczący zniesienia nadzoru Ministerstwa Klimatu i Środowiska nad PZŁ dzisiaj na sejmowej Komisji Ochrony Środowiska, Zasobów Naturalnych i Leśnictwa kierowanej przez myśliwą Urszulę Pasławską przeszedł do drugiego czytania.
Projekt ma dać PZŁ pełną kontrolę nad zarządzaniem populacjami zwierząt łownych, zakłada usunięcie ministerialnej kontroli nad działaniami myśliwych. Według autorów ma to zapewnić "odpowiedzialne zarządzanie zasobami przyrodniczymi".
PZŁ chce sam dla siebie uchwalać prawo – poza jakąkolwiek władzą ministra. W imieniu zwierząt i przyrody - głosem adwokatki podkreśla, że to poważne naruszenie fundamentów państwa prawa, ponieważ łowiectwo powinno podlegać administracji rządowej.
Radosław Ślusarczyk z @PracowniaBystra ocenia projekt jako "skandaliczny i kuriozalny", wskazując, że "myśliwi stają się państwem w państwie". — Sami dla siebie będą uchwalać prawo, a ministerstwo będzie występowało ewentualnie w roli organizacji skarżącej uchwałę do sądu. To rażąca próba naruszenia podstawowych zasad związanych z kompetencjami władzy wykonawczej i oddanie grupie nieprofesjonalistów zarządzania istotną częścią środowiska naturalnego bez żadnej kontroli.
