Sharing christmas with your siblings is the best. Even though I dont really join in. My brother Edward helps me all the time and has to do alot more than most. He is very special and he is in a special gang called young carers.

Christmas time bring snow rain and icicles..I love the water so much much and will alway seek out a water source. It can be fun but can also be a real danger if mummy isnt around.

Whilst Mummy and daddy's hide and lock away presents for santa. My mummy has to lock away everything she owns as I will put anything and everything in my mouth..we call it sensory seeking or Pica

Sometimes my sensory processing, pica and not having my voice can make me hurt others and myself. Mummy tries to protect everybody but I get cross and even hurt her sometimes so we can't go to many places....
But I'm working on it as I really don't mean too.

Jack the elf loves nothing more than sitting in his window alone playing the same bit of music on his IPad. His favourite is the Koran happy birthday. Repepetive behaviour are common with autism.

Mummy really wishes this was me spreading the Christmas cheer with chocolate. But I have been learning my makaton so I can sign when I need the toilet. I have no way of telling my mummy why I smear but it makes me feel sad and mummy too.

He's writing his list, he's checking it twice...Jack the elf needs a good routine to give him structure. Not following the list can cause jack to become confused and upset.

I have no sense of danger and I love to climb as high as I can!!! .mummy has improved on her climbing skills over the years as I struggle to follow instructions and she has to come and get me...he he he.

Imagine not being able to ask for that last pig in blanket..it is like for me because I haven't found my little voice. I use PECS cards to try and ask for thing I want or feel. However sometimes Sensory processing gets in the way and I just eat them.
