The FBI arrested Benjamin Azariah Southworth in Los Angeles after a federal grand jury indicted him for allegedly threatening to assassinate President Trump and his attorney, Jay Sekulow.

FBI Director Kash Patel called the threats “vile” and praised FBI Los Angeles and its law enforcement partners for making the arrest.

Minneapolis Police Officer Tou Thao says there were multiple attempts to MURDER him on his FIRST day in federal prison and that "state actors" tipped off the inmates.

Tou Thao: “The first day attempt was made on my life. So it shows you that apparently somebody had tipped them off. Later, I talked to a inmate and they said, yeah, we knew months in advance”

“In my opinion, state actors likely tipped them off because they want to eliminate me. They don't want me to exercise my First Amendment right to speak out and expose all the corruption that occurred in the case.”

NEW: DHS Secretary Markwayne Mullin says he owes the U.S. Coast Guard pilots a huge thank you after his plane was forced to make an emergency landing.

The unexpected stop was due to an engine failure while flying from Georgia to Washington, D.C.

"The U.S. Coast Guard pilots made the single-engine landing feel routine. No panic, just straight professionalism."

The aircraft is one of several Coast Guard planes DHS flagged last year over concerns about the fleet's age.

🇳🇱 A video dropped of four hooded men threatening a Dutch drug suspect.

One of them speaks English with a Spanish accent. They accuse 28-year-old Jan G. junior of stealing 1,283 kg of cocaine from a Belgian contact and give him 12 hours to give it back.

If he does not, they say they will go after his family, friends, kids, and anyone who helped him.

Dutch police have the clip and have not confirmed it is authentic.

Armed men later hit his farm in Overasselt. A 51-year-old security guard was killed and two officers were wounded.

Jan ran off in his underwear carrying a child. About 35 people are in custody. He was already convicted in an MDMA lab case and is free on appeal.

The press is calling it a clan war.

Jerry Sowood, a 27-year-old Liberian migrant, punched a 10-year-old Australian boy in the head while he was traveling to Melbourne for brain-cancer treatment. When the boy’s mother, Cherie, 46, intervened, Sowood put her in a headlock and repeatedly stabbed her with scissors in front of her three children, aged 10, 11 and 16. The incident took place near Victoria Police headquarters.

Three bystanders jumped on the attacker, pulled him away and held him until police arrived. Victoria Police called their intervention “heroic” and said the attack could have been much worse without them.

In court, Sowood said: “I punched the kid in the head… I took the scissors and I stabbed the woman in the head.” He then argued that he had “kept his humanity” because both victims were still alive.

Cherie suffered a fractured leg and neck-ligament damage.

Doctors are examining whether the attack caused additional inflammation around her son’s brain tumor.
