@TheGoldenSmurf Ah, DBZ. The quintessential example of serial escalation gone horribly wrong. When Freeza stopped being the ultimate threat and started being a basic measuring stick, there was no saving for the plot. Sure, it was fun and all, but the stakes were laughable.
@Nobbie_OCs Criticism time:
I like this design, but they actually tried something like this after WWI. A bunch of MGs on a tank. Turns out just one high explosive cannon is more effective than like 16 MGs pointed everywhere.
@NeviusYpsila@Light_88_ We "shit on them ad nauseum" because we want them to do better, and we know they can, because they have in the past. They simply refuse to do so because of greed and complacency. When you don't like something, you complain about it. *That's the point*.
@NeviusYpsila@Light_88_ Kind of proving my point that such a big budget/high profile project sucked so much on release.
And yet, the tiny, low budget game delivered so much and more, and with much better stability, for a fraction of the price.
@NeviusYpsila@Light_88_ One is made by the owner of one of the biggest IPs in history, with billions of dollars invested. The other is made by an indie group who's initial budget was just enough before they went bankrupt.
Now, ask me who made which game.
@LavenderGhast Is it necessary because the writers want to teach a lesson, or because the writers made Chaos too OP? Its only necessary because of how utterly outrageous and over-the-top the setting is, not because of any sort of relatable reasons.
@Krekkov It would be nice to have a greatsword that was capable of thrusting that isn't just the mid-tier Claymore. Seriously, not a single greatsword except the Claymore and Midra's sword can do thrust damage, despite all of them saying they can.
@jogothy@CharlieMontagne@FastRat111@Dankness01 Don't get me wrong, I do enjoy the game, and all Fromsoft titles I've played. Its just that there are things worth criticizing. And I'd say they've learned their lessons more often than not. DS3 has some of the best end game content of any RPG I've ever played.
