Great turnout for @CaitforNewYork at 9:30 AM on a Saturday!
Cait has served our country overseas, and she’s ready to serve our country in Congress. She’ll fight against corruption in Washington and make life more affordable for Hudson Valley residents.
Tom DiNapoli can do the job, and Joseph Hernandez can’t. Tom’s doubled the value of the state pension fund and identified billions in savings — that’s why nearly every union in NY has endorsed him.
In other #NY17 news…
Cait Conley raised a whopping $5M in Q3.
That is a big number for a House race, let alone for a House challenger.
Mike Lawler still has the cash advantage - and this is an expensive district - but this is an encouraging haul.
@CaitforNewYork
There's a huge amount of enthusiasm in the North Country for @BlakeGendebien. NY-21 is ready to elect someone who will actually lower costs and support farms and small businesses.
The Hudson Valley is fed up with being hung out to dry by party-first politician Mike Lawler, who votes with Donald Trump 100% of the time — even when it harms all of us.
From tariffs to the war with Iran to tax breaks for data centers, Mike Lawler’s votes have raised the cost of everything and made everyday life more difficult.
I’m running to lower middle-class taxes, rein in Washington corruption, and create the better, more affordable future we deserve.
Every vote counts! Make sure you register by October 24th: https://t.co/ztd8LcTxBH
Under Governor Hochul, solar power has saved New York families at least $90 million in utility costs. Instead of embracing solar, though, @Bruce_Blakeman is elevating cranks on the campaign trail. Unlike Hochul, Blakeman isn’t serious about affordability.
More corruption in @lawler4ny's office:
-Husband of a Lawler staffer is suspended from the Sheriff's Office after being charged with assault
-Staffer pressures the GOP Sheriff to reinstate her husband
Mike Lawler only cares about himself and his friends, not working people.
Zohran’s popularity is proof that populism is good for identifying the problems and abundance policies are good for solving the problems
Fusing abundance + populism and turning it into a compelling message like Zohran has is the future of good governance
"[Berman] isn’t saving the city from greedy developers, but instead carrying water for wealthy property owners in some of the most expensive precincts on Earth who have a vested interested in keeping their jewel box of a neighborhood as it is w/o any pesky new affordable-housing"
Trump's tariffs cost the average American family over $1,000 per year. If @lawler4ny were serious about lowering costs for New Yorkers, he'd vote against tariffs, not pal around with their greatest defender.
The @NYSFair reminds us of the beauty and diversity of our great state. It was a privilege to visit yesterday and speak with so many New Yorkers. There’s no state like New York, and there’s no fair like The Great New York State Fair!
Lawler Manufactures a Public Safety Crisis that Doesn't Exist
Statement from Westchester County Communications Director Catherine Cioffi
“It takes an extraordinary level of hypocrisy for Mike Lawler to lecture anyone in Westchester County about public safety, responsible government or protecting working people. This is a 'Congressman' who has stood with Donald Trump while his administration decimated the federal workforce and dismantled critical government services. This is a 'Congressman' who has cast votes that have made food, gas and health care more expensive for the very families he claims to represent. And now, apparently desperate for another political headline, Lawler has decided to manufacture a public safety crisis in Westchester that simply does not exist.
“Every unit within the County’s Department of Public Safety has appropriate supervision and is overseen by a Captain. There are currently 43 Sergeants in the Department; when the five vacancies are filled, there will be 48. More importantly, Westchester County is safer today than when Lawler served in the Astorino administration, and the Department is funded at the highest level ever. Those are not political talking points – but facts, backed by budgets, staffing levels and public safety data.
“We respect collective bargaining, and we remain committed to reaching a fair resolution. Unfortunately, Lawler appears more interested in following the Trump political playbook: repeat a falsehood loudly enough from a soapbox and hope voters mistake it for the truth.
“Maybe instead of lecturing Westchester County about how to run a government, Lawler should spend some time explaining everything he has done in Washington - and why Westchester families are paying the price for it.”
Great reception on the doors for
@CaitforNewYork and @LegPeteHarckham! It’s clear that voters are tired of Lawler’s lies and are looking for independent leadership in DC
As State Comptroller, I've seen firsthand what real accountability looks like and @tishjamesforny has delivered it.
From holding corporations responsible to standing up to Washington, she's exactly the fighter New York needs in the AG's office. Proud to support her reelection.
