🚨🌳 Nottingham Forest, confident to close Ousmane Diomande deal with Sporting shortly after bid sent.
Proposal will be way below €80m release clause; around €40m total package add-ons included.
Forest family,
Firstly I am so grateful for the love and support you have shown me over the last 2 years especially towards the end of this season. From the minute I walked through the door i fell in love with this club.
I want to thank all the staff and players for welcoming me and making my time here so enjoyable, this club gave me the opportunity to grow as a player and a person.
Bringing the club European football again after 29 years is what all of you fans deserved and to be a helping hand in that is so special.
Nottingham forest will always have a special place in my heart. Thank you for all the unforgettable memories.

🚨🌳 Oliver Glasner to Nottingham Forest, here we go! Deal in place for former Palace manager to replace Pereira at #NFFC.
Glasner will bring key people from his staff and will be involved in transfer decisions.
Well, we’re safe👍🏼
A season which has had many lows yet still so many highs. Before a ball was kicked we knew our league form would suffer with us having European football for the first time in over 30 years, but to have 4 managers and a relegation scrap wasn’t on the cards.
Our return to Europe was nothing short of remarkable. 1 manager picked the squad he never used. We had 3 different managers lead us across Europe. We ended up in the Semi-finals which did end horrifically. But these players turned it on when it mattered towards the back end of the season in the League to keep us up.
Again, there will probably be a big turnover in the summer. Anderson is 95% likely to leave but provide us with a lot of money to reinvest. Murillo, Gibbs-White and Williams will all have plenty of interest too. Who knows if Vitor will be in charge next season aswell.

When Jordan Smith saved the ball onto the bar all them years ago against Ipswich, I always thought I would never see my club get out of the Championship. We did. I never thought we would stay in the Premier League. We did. I never thought I would see my club in Europe. I have now.
So so incredibly proud of this club and them players, a very turbulent season off the pitch but I’ve just watched them get to a European Semi-final. Yes we capitulated in the end but Villa are by far a much better and settled side than us. Also injuries have absolutely killed us. I don’t like the fact players are on the bench if they aren’t fit to play. Fair play to Villa, very well deserved.
I don’t think this is the end of our journey, this opportunity just came at the wrong time for us. We will be back❤️

Wow, what a win!
3 points in the bag which was very unexpected when we seen the starting 11 which showed Vitor had eyes on Thursdays 2nd leg at Villa👀
Taiwo an absolute menace with 2 goals and winning a penalty. The whole team performed like they’ve been at that level all season. It all but confirms our place in the Premier League next season👍🏼
We send our best wishes to Jesse Derry who had a horrific head injury. We also hope that Robert Sanchez, Zach Abbott and Morgan Gibbs-White are all healthy aswell🤞🏼

I know it sounds weird and I wasn’t even contemplating it before the Spurs game, but thats not that bad of a result for us. We’re 3 points above West Ham and they have Arsenal(H), Newcastle(A) and then Leeds(H) on the final day. Which means they currently need 4 points from them games with Forest getting 0 from 12 points. Just take it as it comes, a positive result tomorrow could very much so get us over the line🤞🏼

It’s Matchday in the capital as we take on Chelsea at Stamford Bridge🔵
A win would all but confirm our survival in the Premier League👀
Hoping to get a couple of injured players back, but who starts with Thursday night also in sight🤔
