Back in EJA cup action today. We thumped Sudbury Sports (the rubbish Sudbury) 6-1, 2 nice assists in a CM role today as Jed was suspended. Completely dominated a poor team with no plan, no fight and not much of a clue tbh. Should have been 10. #JP10#Ejaleague#stanwayrovers
My goal against Blackmore in the cup this weekend. Proper passing football. 5-1 win. 4 wins out of 5 for the lads now. Building something #JP10#Ejaleague
Back in EJA action this weekend and at last we get the 3 points we have been deserving all season as we beat Pegasus 2-0. Planned FK too. Worked a treat. We play the best passing football in this league so hopefully we kick on from here. #JP10#stanwayrovers
My goal and assist as we draw 2-2 with a very direct Stanway Pegasus in our #ejaleague this morning. Should have been 2/3 up at H/T but didn’t take our chances again, and paid the price second half. Shame only 1 team came to play football. #Hoof#longball#JP10
My free kick against Mulbarton U16s EJA away in the cup last night to put us 1 up. Game we lost 3-2 in the end but could have gone either way. A really tough physical game. They got 4 yellows. #Ejaleague#stanwayrovers#JP10
We played Sudbury U16 blues Sunday. Battered them for 35 mins but couldn’t extend our lead, should have been 3 up before they caught us on the break. 1-1 at HT. Second half different story. Didn’t compete and lost 5-1. Chance to put it right tomorrow in the cup. #Ejaleague#JP10
4 of us from Stanway Rovers U16s were in action at the Essex County U16 Boys Trial over weekend. Me, Olly, Mal and Josh. 80 boys will be cut to 30 for the next stage. Fingers crossed 🤞⚽️ #JP10#essexfa#football
Our first game of the season today. A decent 1-1 draw against last seasons EJAleague champions Heybridge Swifts. Chances to win it in the final 10mins but we take a point on the road. 1 game, 1 assist. What a finish from H #stanwayrovers#JP10
Thanks to @SandyRoo11 for sorting tickets to Manutd today at Wembley. Stress free, great communication, and perfect seats 💪 ⚽️ Shame Sancho still can’t take pens
And that’s a wrap. Season over. Decent ending for #stanwayrovers 3 wins against Barham, Aveley & Springfield and a draw with Harlow town as we build our squad for next season. 7 released, 20 trialists tested, and a whole new team. Next stop. Orlando 🙌 #JP10#Football#holiday
