@wilwen2 I read further. This bill forces the medicare budget to be cut by at least 880 billion dollars over the next decade. That doesn't sound like helping the lower class to me. Note that this is something that WILL happen under this bill compared to the tip tax, which MIGHT happen.
@wilwen2 Sure. But that's not what I'm responding about. What I'm responding about is the fact that you reposted misinformation. If dems vote no on abolishing tip tax, then sure, that's not great. But they didnt vote no to that. That's where my issue lies.
@wilwen2 I'm not sure I follow how you'd be "right" in this case, as it doesn't list any exact measures. I read the document myself. What it does is detail the deficit and list policy goals. It's so vague that there's not any policies that can be extracted from it- thats for future votes.
