I started watching the Atlanta Falcons in 1978, when I was 8 years old. I loved them because they were the team in my home state.

I cried when they lost the Dallas game in January 1981. I was almost 11 years old. I suffered through the 80s, which were awful.

Lucky enough to start covering the team in 1993. But what we've seen since the Super Bowl loss is rivaling the 1980s. Yes, that bad.

Falcons in the 2020s: 36-55
Falcons since losing the Super Bowl: 60-79

They don't play their players in the preseason. Moronic.

They use a collaborative approach. It has NOT worked, and they won't stop.

Their coach admitted last season it is a collaborative decision when to call a time out. Moronic. I lost all respect for him right there.

They said Rich McKay was not going to be involved with the team. They lied. He is.

This franchise is a DUMPSTER FIRE. Arthur Blank is a horrible owner. I don't care how much money he gives to high schools, colleges, kids, the homeless. He's a billionaire. That's what he is supposed to do. But he has zero business owning am NFL football team. None.

These fans today should ask for a refund. And Morris should be fired TONIGHT. Not tomorrow. Tonight. Send him and Robinson packing and go find a true head coach who can run this franchise without interference from Blank and McKay.
