This is my final post on Twitter, aka Elon Musk spent billions to turn this site into his private kingdom and all he's done is make it worse since then. I'm moving over to Bluesky as soon as I'm done, and only leaving this account open in case I need to see relevant tweets... 1/
Oh, and literally as I was typing this, a pop-up showed up on my screen announcing that blocking accounts no longer prevents them from seeing your posts, just demonstrating further why I'm getting the hell out of here.
F*** you, Elon. F*** you very much. 7/7
But even the worst versions of Tony Stark have the actual intelligence and creativity necessary to be Iron Man. You aren't fit to shine his very expensive shoes. You're a wannabe, a poser, a pretender to greatness whose throne is in disrepair and crumbling even as I type this. 5/
You will never be Tony Stark. You're not even smart enough to be Lex Luthor or Norman Osborn. You're just a dumb kid whose mommy and daddy were so obscenely rich that you were able to blow all your money convincing gullible morons that you were hot stuff instead of a hot MESS. 6/
F*** you, Elon Musk. F*** you in the @$$ with a rusty spike. Your influence on everything, this website included, has been nothing but toxic and abominable and all you've done is steal people's ideas and fail upwards trying to prove you're the real life Tony Stark. 4/
...left attached to this account, and literally haven't logged on to Twitter in ages because the toxic buzz going around is impossible to ignore, and I want to cut myself off from such things forever.
As a final message out the door, since IDC what happens next... 3/
...in an article or something, or to look at some art that's not for kiddywinks.
Anyway, I don't feel like posting a link to the new account. If you know me, and the starts align, we'll see each other somewhere on BlueSky and reconnect.
I don't have many good feelings... 2/

@the_moviebob Maybe. Some of what happened feels like it would have happened regardless due to the death of Chadwick Boseman, the brief but very negative impact of Bob Chapek's run as Disney CEO and the Writer/Actors' Strike. Oh, and let's not forget the COVID-19 Pandemic that wrecked house.
@Based_statistic@the_moviebob "Artistic integrity"? Where do you get this stuff? They're not artistic, and they have no integrity. You need help, buddy.
@tonygoldmark Nazis might have been able to do a lot more damage before they were stopped if not for Hitler's idiotic decision to open the Russian Front.
Hell, it wasn't just Soviet forces. The Nazis were defeated by the WEATHER. Russian Winters JDNGAF, man.
@mvbrat91 I hate to beat a dead horse but everything Snyder did to make his DC movies different from the Donner movies or Marvel's efforts just made them worse. This scene is just one example.
