So when someone told me they needed their fix of this platform, I thought, you should give up anything that you need a fix of.
Anything but bacon of course. I’m still making excuses for hanging around this swamp
If anyone is surprised at the reaction to this piece of human waste being moved to a medium security facility, give your head a shake. If our system valued deterrent in any form for this unspeakable category of evil, we’d have never heard his name again until he passed.
Tonight candidates will be running on fumes after giving their all for a chance to represent the interests of their constituents. Winning beats losing and there are far more volunteers gathering the signs for the victor afterward. It takes guts to put your name out there
Thanks
I’ve been blessed to work at the municipal, provincial - territorial and national level with people of pretty much all political stripes.
We’ve remained friends and learned from each other. Hate was never a result of our differences.
Let’s go back there
Tomorrow I vote for the RCMP. My doctor passed and I don’t have a doctor so I’ll vote for healthcare. Now well into my 70s, CPP is my friend. I’ll vote for it. My Grandchildren are perfect, so I’ll vote for their education. I’m Canadian so I’ll vote for that. Because I can
Well, that leaders debate was a nothing burger. This is what happens when we select leaders that are past their best before date and require speaking notes to tell you who they are.
I’m disappointed but certainly not surprised.
So it’s not that there’s someone standing on a stump somewhere in Alberta screaming these wildfires are some form of penance, it’s that some parties welcome them into the fold.
But I’m not judging
@ian_schuyler @BryanScottQb@TorontoArgos Look out Toronto, this lad can grow bullets and hunts rabbits with a stick to stay in shape in the off season.
The downside of having enjoyed travelling to most everywhere in Alberta, is I know the devastation these wildfires are bringing.
My thoughts are with those rural folks in the path of this wreck.
So we’re at the vote for me or you won’t get your arena blackmail part of the Alberta election.
Wouldn’t it be funny if it backfired and wiped out every Edmonton regional UCP candidate along with Calgary folks that are blackmail averse.
Could happen
So I have to wade into the fire the RCMP thing.
Recognized the world over for excellence in policing and used as a training resource globally.
They have placed themselves between you and evil and paid the ultimate price doing it.
Be better
@MarkCherrington@CherylCourt When we don’t make taking care of our vulnerable job one, every nickel we spend on other stuff is stolen.
That doesn’t mean I don’t believe in fiscal responsibility.
It means what moral and ethical priorities do you represent.
Wear it.
The eternal optimist. About to watch the Alberta Budget being tabled. The optimist part is hoping it signals sustainable positive change and not short term gains.
We’ll you could of knocked me over with a feather when I heard the Premiers were unhappy with the $48+ billion dollars.
I doubt there was a number they could agree on and last call goes to the payer.
I’m afraid i understand why he only met with them for two hours.
Please tell me someone didn’t use paper straws as an example of Federal overreach.
Obviously worth taking up arms. Please stop with this crap for awhile and celebrate being among the luckiest people on earth.
You know, Canadian.
This is the portrait that hangs in our Legislative Assembly of Alberta’s first female Premier. The ceremony for unveiling was private which saddened me. Politics at the time, toxic.
Today our second female Premiers portrait won’t be attended by our third. I’m again saddened.
