Cold and dark January nights are the best for watching films, so here's a few recommendations from me 🍿
I've put together a list and some rambling thoughts on my favourites of 2025 👇

@Elm_665@TheNomadsFc Game itself wasn’t great but nice to see so many families enjoying the day out. Had a mate take his lad for the first time, sure he’s not the only one so hopefully got the club some new fans. Defo a positive aspect of the day. Birch introducing the team was genuinely lovely too.
Leicester City Legends win the 5000/1 anniversary match on 4-2 penalties after a 0-0 draw.
All thanks to two saves from goalkeeper and @TheNomadsFc manager Conrad Logan. What a boy.

Another nice touch. The ref for this 5000/1 anniversary match is Premier League official and City fan John Brooks. Rules mean he wouldn’t get to do it in a proper game, so imagine reffing these players at King Power Stadium is pretty cool for him.

Best tribute to the Leicester City glory days at today’s 5000/1 anniversary match… the return of rascal pitch designs. Game was gone the second the league banned them.

BREAKING: Leicester City Women have been relegated from the WSL.
Their five year stay in the top-flight has come to an end after defeat to WSL2 side Charlton Athletic.
It is a double relegation for Leicester City Football Club after a disastrous season on the pitch.
Mine and the Mrs’ ranking of the #Eurovision songs (along with my reminder to myself of which song was which).
Based purely on vibes and I’ll be honest any sort of thought process went out the window by about song 15.

Interesting decision on non-league placements for local clubs at Step 3.
As expected, @TheNomadsFc go into the Southern League Central. BUT @QuornAFC are moved to the Northern Premier League.
So two clubs less than 10 miles apart won’t be in the same league. Massive shame that.
I have no affiliation to Hearts. Before this season I don’t think I’ve taken much notice of their scores. This penalty was scored by an ex Leicester player, which normally I’d be mildly pleased about. And yet…
This decision is an absolute shambles. Game has absolutely gone.
