Lil Poppa's mother created a foundation in his name that focuses on mental health.

Last week, Orie Lynn Hickson launched the More to Life Janarious “Lil Poppa” Wheeler Legacy Foundation on social media.

"Born from Poppa’s vision to help others, More to Life is committed to creating impact through Wellness, Opportunity and Expression," the caption of the foundation's first post on Instagram (@moretolifelilpoppa) reads. "This is just the beginning. Follow our page and grow with us as we bring Poppa’s vision to life. Three pillars. One mission. More to Life."

The foundation will be formally introduced during a community event in October.

Lil Poppa died at the age of 25 from a self-inflicted gunshot wound on Feb. 18.
