@LockedOnYankees Here’s an idea: with M Fried coming back, Yanks have very deep starting rotation but I am not super confident in our bullpen. How would W Warren look as a middle relief pitcher-let him pitch 3 innings before our closer OR make Warren the closer.
@FiresideYankees@RyanGarciaESM He’s a great starting pitcher but pitching is not the issue with this team. Bulllen and run production are higher needs. And I don’t mean home run hitters - this team needs players that hit for average, contact hitters with good base running ability. Also 3B should be addressed
@Jason_Sarney This is funny but it’s also true. Campbell is no joke. A deep strong anchor, power drive blocker and above average pass blocker. Only allowed 1 sack in 2025. He is not super fast or overly athletic but played for a top level team vs elite opponents
@nic_rohloff If he’s available after June 1, sign him. Use him to help Willis show his ability then trade him at the trading deadline. At that point, Bell should be ready to return on a limited basis
@Montrealdolfan I didn’t think they’d draft a QB this year. They have 2 - second year QBs behind Willis so it’s likely they’ll try to sign a vet QB. Having 2 second year guys and a rookie QB doesn’t give much confidence. They will add a vet QB after June 1

@Jason_Sarney@FinsFaithfulPod Agree your assessment. I’ll throw DJ Campbell in as an upside player. I watched a lot of Texas football and he is a beast. An absolute mauler!
@GhostOfAdamGase@lit_phins I put Bell in the 27 season bucket but I really think we’re gonna get 6 or 7 from this draft. Love love love DJ Campbell. Trying to be realistic and not myopic
@PoupartNFL Seven??? Seven is a phenomenal draft! There are always players that get hype (M Kamara, C Smith) that don’t transition to the NFL but that counter acts the 5th or 6th rounders that step up
@ThatFinsRealtor I love the power gap lineup. The key is Jonah goes to the right side, which is his natural position. We could actually play bully ball.
