The surveillance camera video shows the soldier, seen in full military gear, repeatedly punching one of the Palestinians. The group is then seen leaving the area, leaving behind the two wounded Palestinians.
The military says that it is "aware of footage showing an IDF soldier using violence against a Palestinian," and that the soldier's actions are "serious and inconsistent with the values of the IDF."
"Once the soldier is identified, he will be subject to disciplinary proceedings, and appropriate command and disciplinary measures will be taken in accordance with the findings," the army says.
The IDF says that troops and Border Police officers were dispatched to several sites in Huwara today after receiving reports of "suspected theft of livestock belonging to Israeli civilians," and to "remove the Israeli civilians and the livestock from the village and prevent confrontations in the area."
Later, the military says, "several rioters arrived in the area of the village and violent clashes developed, including stone-throwing and the use of clubs between Israeli civilians and Palestinians."
At least nine Palestinians were reported wounded in the attack by the settlers, who are seen in pictures arriving at the town on pickup trucks.
The IDF says the forces worked to "disperse the gatherings" using riot dispersal means. There are no reports of arrests.
The police, in a statement, says it has launched an investigation into the settler attack, with officers entering the village a short while ago to collect evidence.
The military says it "strongly condemns violence of any kind that harms security in the area and diverts the attention of commanders and soldiers from defense missions and counterterrorism activities," and the police say it "views such cases of violence and damage [to property] with severity and will continue to act decisively and professionally to locate those involved, investigate them, and bring them to justice accordingly."](https://pbs.twimg.com/media/HKIvBBbXAAAOMGT.jpg)

Breaking | Israeli settler militias are attacking the village of Einabus, south of Nablus, and stealing livestock belonging to local Palestinian farmers.
According to CNN, citing people with knowledge on the matter, Israel deployed intelligence and military personnel to Azerbaijan during the war with Iran. Stationed in Southern Azerbaijan, adjacent to the Iranian city of Tabriz, these forces reportedly conducted intelligence gathering missions and drone operations against Iran. Per the report, the operation included dozens of troops, including some Mossad operatives, and began with preliminary operations before the war, installing listening devices and other intelligence related equipment in the area.
