They studied.

First batch of Celtics 2026 NBA Draft scouting.
I've been watching two full games of every prospect and sharing my thoughts. The first three:
UConn's Tarris Reed Jr.
North Carolina's Henri Veesaar
Houston's Chris Cenac

I’ve seen a lot of “Boston media mafia” accusations. Derrick White just had one of the most impactful defense seasons in recent memory.
Don’t let the bad taste of the playoffs erase what was an unbelievable defensive season.
Castle's turnovers have been bad no doubt, but he's also led the spurs by far in time of possession, so i wanted to look at how his TOV rate compares to the league over the last couple postseasons.
Here's a chart.
➡️ Throwing bad passes more often
⬆️ Losing the ball more often
Tyler is great. HC in Maine 24-25. Back in Boston this year.
This is what Hugo Gonzalez had to say earlier this year:
“He’s an amazing coach, an amazing person… It’s hard to catch [up with] the game when you come from overseas… He has made my life easier in that.”
There’s a lot to untangle about the Blazers’ winding process here.
Sources say that Celtics assistant coach Tyler Lashbrook has also advanced to an in-person interview with Portland for the team’s head coaching vacancy.
