I'm trying to build a clean, simple onboarding that gets my user into the app quickly. Let me know what you think!

I really believe little animations are what separate mediocre apps from great ones.
Animations like the trophy in the top bar might seem small, but they turn an app from forgettable into something that feels rewarding to use. #BuildInPublic
What was the main reason you decided to quit smoking?
I'm making an app to motivate people to quit smoking, and want to know what features would make a real impact on users wanting to quit. #quitsmoking#indieapp
I'm building an app that helps people quit smoking, one small victory at a time.
Think rewards, levels, daily check-ins. But here's the best part:
If you're quitting (or have quit) smoking, I want your input. The features in the app will come straight from what you need most.
I'm building an app that makes quitting smoking feel like you're leveling up.
It turns the hardest habit to quit into a daily game of progress and rewards.
Inspired by the power of streaks and celebrating small wins, it’s about accountability, not guilt.
If you’ve ever tried to quit smoking—what actually helped you the most?
Was it a person? A mindset shift? A tool or app?
I’m building an app to support people on that journey. Curious to hear real stories.

What if quitting smoking felt like leveling up in a game? 🚀
I'm working on an app that is designed to make quitting smoking feel rewarding.
It doesn't use scare tactics, but uses progress, rewards, and accountability. Follow to see more! #BuildInPublic#QuitSmoking#IndieDev
I see a lot of onboarding screens aim for neutral, non-distracting backgrounds..
But sometimes that just makes them feel boring and forgettable.
For my app, I wanted onboarding to feel as vibrant and alive as the art itself.
Thoughts?

This is one of my favourite flows I've built in SwiftUI!
The onboarding flow for Daily Dose of Art was made to feel as calming and focus on the main reason the user downloaded the app: the Art. #buildinpublic#SwiftUI#artapp#iosdev#indieapp

I love how good the laurels in sf symbols fit in with text. Add in a gauge and it looks great.
Super easy to build this header, and looks great across the app.

What was the most impactful thing that helped you quit smoking?
I made a journaling screen.
Not to vent — but to reflect.
Daily prompts. Small wins. Honest moments.
Sometimes writing it down is what keeps you going. ✍️

Here's an award screen I designed to help motivate people to quit smoking. Each icon corresponds to a health improvement award.

Most quit-smoking apps feel like homework.
They’re filled with generic tips, basic stats, and guilt-tracking.
I’m building something better. Follow along as I design something that could literally save lives.
